The Minnesota Green Roofs Council was asked to partner with Environment Minnesota (http://www.environmentminnesota.org/ ) to take a look at innovative water management strategies in our communities on the forum of From Roots To Rooftops!
For this forum on Tuesday, March 20 at 8:00 a.m. we’ll cover the many benefits of green roofs and landscaping in conserving and protecting clean water. This is a discussion for designers, advocates, local leaders, community members and conservation supporters alike.
Our speakers include John Bilotta, an educator with the U of M Extension Service on Water. Angie Durhman is a Board member on the MGRC and is the National Green Roof Manager with Tecta America. John has years of experience in education and training around soil and water resources, and Angie has worked on more than 200 green roof projects including the Target Center in Minneapolis.
As always, the event costs $15 for each attendee. That includes a $5 donation to Environment Minnesota, and $10 to the Red Stag Supperclub. Click here to RSVP and donate $5 to Environment Minnesota ahead of time.
And there will be delicious food! Please join the discussion!
