Green Roof Trailer Blog

The trailer is part of our RoofBloom project, which is funded by the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. Among other things, we are designing a green roof system appropriate for a shed or garage that can be constructed almost entirely from materials that can be purchased at a home improvement store and a garden center

The trailer will allow us to demonstrate the system that we have designed. More imprtantly, we will have a portable demonstration roof that we can bring to workshops, conferences and other events. This will allow more people to see up close what a green roof looks like.

We need to get cracking, though, if we are going to get this thing planted by the end of September.
